I'm on daily. Deleted everyone from my hall (about 20 "friends"). Still have random JW friends strewn about US and Europe. The rest are non cult people, except one LDS girl from high school. Very diverse group of people.

the journey of my children in awakening
by Aussie Oz inat the request of some, i have gone through many of my posts of the last 3 years to collect all my methods i used to awaken my children to the truth about the truth.. from oldest to newest (i will do them in a few posts so its not an endless scroll thru).

Welcome! Having support when fading makes such a difference. I'm fortunate my best friend is out with me! I've been getting several RBC invites lately;still feels weird. Otherwise if you lay low and stay mellow:), an easy fade may work.

Hi
by LucidChimp ini've been lurking here for a year or two now (since i stumbled across ttatt and was stumbled by it), i even started an account some while back and asked a couple of questions.. but i never actually stood up and said hi... so hi, my name's jon and i'm a dubaholic.. .
i was "born in" in the 80s - and grew up on a liquid diet of cheap suits and revelation book pictures (i mean really, group after group just staring at the pictures while not listening, i must have spent more time staring at those pictures than i have any work of art in my life, literally hours at each lurid picture).
i "left" in my teens, but apparently lacking any kind of actual sense, returned to studying with a childhood friend from the congregation in my twenties (although i was never baptised, my entire small family were dubs, so i saw more witnesses than "worldly people" on a regular basis.. they love bombed my arse for years!)..

Disfellowshipping
by Legacy ini wanted to know if anyone on here was df'd or know of any who were...why i ask is because many of the friends i have spoken to, say it's not done, just like that.
it's a process.
i have spoken to a re-instated sister and she said by the time they see you, you are pretty much out.

I've been in a similar situation And it depends on how repentant you act and how many people know. I will message you more details. Suffice it to say, my hall had two unmarried sisters wind up pregnant and neither was disfellowshipped.

That was relatively speedy. I hope those affected are getting good therapy and moving on. One more case I'll be pointing out to my family as to how the policies do not protect children.
